DOSE:
25 - 200 mg oral Pharms - Lamotrigine
  25 mg oral Hydroxyzine
0.1 mg oral Pharms - Clonidine
BODY WEIGHT: 178 lb
I've been struggling with depression for a number of years after my dad died, and recently I had been getting nightmares and flashbacks related to my experience of watching him slowly slip away. I had gone through 6 months of therapy (at my wife's insistence) with no relief, and I felt as though an inescapable black hole had taken up residence inside of me. I had been through several SSRI meds and none of them helped, or they made it worse.

One day after losing my shit and screaming at everyone, I decided to do something about it. I called a psychiatrist that my therapist had recommended. When I went in she started me on lamictal 25mg and hydroxyzine. About 15 minutes after my first dose I felt as though I had smoked a bowl of some great indica. The body buzz was something else and I couldn't stop telling my wife I loved her. It lasted for a good 4 hours but that was just my first dose.

As the days went on, my dose was increased, I didn't get that high feeling after a couple of days and otherwise I never noticed a difference until I hit about 75mg lamictal. The panic attacks happened less often, I needed the hydroxyzine less, they were less intense.
The panic attacks happened less often, I needed the hydroxyzine less, they were less intense.
The flashbacks started to become less disturbing, the nightmares started to go away. That was at 150mg.

I still had some anger issues and depressive episodes around the holidays so she upped my lamictal to 200mg and added clonidine, which I honestly wasn't expecting to do much. The clonidine makes me feel drowsy as hell and my mouth dry, but I sleep without any nightmares (but I do get these weirdly vivid dreams) and my head is so much quieter than before.

I have not had a flashback in 2 weeks and I haven't had a panic attack in a few days, so I'm hoping that this will work out. So far, so good.
