I had been suffering from depression and was not sleeping well and not caring about my life. I never drank, smoked or did anything so me and my friend on a Wednesday afternoon decided we would get stoned, not knowing what we were doing we got the weed from her friend and cut it up and shoved it straight into brownie mixture and popped it in the oven.

Once it was cooked (I had been on a very low carb diet) so feeling like I wanted a lot of chocolate had a very large portion with cream and scarfed it down in 5 seconds, my friend only ate half of hers, I could taste lumps of gritty weed but scarfed it anyway!

About 45 min later I started to feel very heavy and we ate some cheese crackers and it felt very dry in my mouth. Then the hell began. Like I'd been hit by a ton of bricks I found myself staring at my friend from a little box inside my head and then time rewound itself and I was hit back to the moment I just experienced. My friend told me to go outside and get air. I went and sat on the grass, this being winter in England, my hearing went and my body went numb. I started to panic and felt my heart beating so fast I thought I was dying.
I started to panic and felt my heart beating so fast I thought I was dying.
I told my friend to call an ambulance. I started to stroke the grass because I couldn't tell what was real and what wasn't. Then a voice started to say calm down its just the weed. I felt like I was shouting all sorts of things but my mouth wasn't moving. I kept thinking my friend was gone and left me, it was like a horror film where everything is warping and it was another dimension. I cant explain how weird it felt, I kept slipping in and out of it.

Then the paramedics came, by this time I was laying on the floor next to a pile of dog pooh. I didn't know this at the time, my friend told me afterwards, in the ambulance I was convinced I was dying and that that was the end, I'd come back as a ghost and nobody could see me. It felt so real, I thought my legs had fallen off and my soul was me and my body wasn't me and time was slipping away. I was hearing voices and thought I was shouting at people but I wasn't. By the end I was puking up all over the place. My mum came and started saying how stupid I was.

It took 3 days for me to feel myself again but I will never forget it. My friend on the other hand said her experience started a lot later, she wasn't sick and didn't trip out like me but was very paranoid and thought the police were after her.
