Very prompt shipping. Reasonable price, and accurately described the condition of the book that was pre-owned and has been out of print for years. I would like to thank the seller, and recommend their services.

I recommend Mr. Ott's book to anyone who wants to learn the width and depth of the plant source. He is knowledgable and concise.

This book is an encyclopedia of all sorts of stimulants, narcotics, psychedelics, pseudo-psychedelics and all other classifications of entheogenic drugs. I warn you, it is dry reading. You really want this if you are a botany major/professional and this is your focus.

This is not an easy book to read because of all the referencing about 1/3 is who wrote the original publication and the bibliography goes from pages 481 to 602! Very well documented but only for serious collectors.

Besides being really thick and imposing, this tome is really heavy. Really, really heavy. Jonathan Ott takes the time to document every reference ever published (seemingly, at least) while creating a surprisingly entertaining read.
This book is the Bible. I have never read a text more accurate, more useful, and more informative. If you can find this book, buy it. Protect it. Cherish it. Buy it presents. Take it on trips to the zoo- in fact, take it everywhere you go.
I do, and it has changed my life.
