Whats the best part of the Morning Glory plant to extract?
Q: In your opinion would it be better to extract the halucinogens from the entire Ipomea (Morning Glory) plant or just the seeds?

A: The seeds of the Ipomea spp. contain the highest levels of alkaloids. There are trace levels of alkaloids throughout the plant, but there may also be other undesireable phytochemicals (chlorophyl etc) which would be extracted with the target alkaloids. The traditional use of Morning Glories involved only the seeds, so there is a longer safety history for seed-only use.
