What is the onset of GHB like?
Q: Can someone please describe exactly what the onset or come- on of Rohypnol and GHB actually feel like? Most sources list general effects like euphoria, dizziness, etc. but I need more detailed info for my research.

A: We don't have any descriptions of the onset of Rohypnol, but GHB onset is going to be extremely similar to the onset of alcohol effects. The effects are so similar as to be difficult to distinguish for anyone who does not have extensive experience with both substances. One of the primary noticeable differences between their full effects is that GHB is more dizzying. It is noticeably more difficult to focus the eyes. Alcohol, on the other hand, provides more of a warming, flushing effect as it comes on. Rosy cheeks and flushed face are less likely and less noticeable on GHB.

As far as specific onset feel. I think it would be nearly impossible to tell apart from the onset of alcohol. With both you would first notice a slight change in vision and equilibrium. These effects would get stronger over time depending on how much alcohol or GHB had been consumed and at what speed. Onset will take about the same period of time for both substances as well.
