Have there ever been traces of nickel or nickel-compounds found in ecstasy?
Q: have there ever been traces of nickel or nickel-compounds found in ecstasy?

A: I don't believe anyone has ever tested for this. Neither MDMA testing kits nor more sophisticated laboratory GCMS testing (Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry) would show whether or not there was nickel or nickel-compounds in tested samples because the tests are designed to look for volatile chemicals, not metals.
