What does N/A mean on a MSDS?
Q: Call me dumb but I have a question about your Material Safety Data Sheet on 1,4 butanediol. It says Vapor Pressure and evaporation rates are N/A-Not Applicable. Does that mean 1,4 butanediol won't evaporate below its boiling point?

A: Most likely it means that the test was never performed. 1,4-butanediol probably has a very insignificant evaporation rate, and the chemists didn't take the time to sit around and measure it.
