Ayahuasca can have extreme negative side effects if taken with some presciptions drugs, especially antidepressants such as Prozac and other selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. Unless you have specific knowledge about the interaction between MAOI drugs and the pharmaceuticals that you are taking, avoid taking ayahuasca.
DEATHS #
A few deaths have been attributed to the use of ayahuacsa. The causes of the deaths have not all been conclusively determined, but in some cases ayahuasca use is believed to have directly resulted in the fatality.
