- Caffeine Can Cause Hallucinations?Some recent research has shown that high levels of caffeine consumption, especially in combination with stress, can increase the incidence of auditory pseudo-hallucinations. High-caffeine subjects were more likely to report hearing music in white noise than low-caffeine subjects.
