- The Rinsing the Bottle ErrorLSD is often dissolved in liquid and distributed in small plastic bottles. In this form it is usually called "liquid LSD". When no more material can be squeezed out of the bottle, there is an extremely common error (that even experienced users make) of assuming that the residue left in the bottle is only a small amount of LSD. It is not uncommon for a single user to decide to rinse the bottle with a little liquid and ingest it. This is usually a much higher dose than the individual intended to take, resulting in extremely strong effects. This is such a common error that it is a well known joke among experienced users.
- NystagmusLSD causes (temporary) horizontal-only nystagmus, as compared to PCP which causes both horizontal and vertical nystagmus (also temporary).
