Field Tests #
A drop of LSD on dull white paper shows that it glows brightly under ultraviolet (UV) light. The LSD glows under both shorter (254nm ) and longer wave UV (365 nm). The light is a Spetroline UV-5NF.

A drop of LSD from a recent vial of liquid LSD compared to a drop of LSD from a seven year old vial of LSD that the owner reported as being "very weak". No clear UV response was visible from the old LSD spot.

A drop of LSD liquid containing around 50 micrograms per drop and a drop of 25I-NBOMe containing around 100 micrograms. LSD spot reacts strongly to both shorter (254nm) and longer (365nm) uv light. On the left side of the paper, a bright white piece of paper can be seen glowing from the UV. The main paper the LSD and 25I-NBOMe drops are on is a dull white paper.

On the left is standard plain bright white printer paper. On the right is dull white paper with a drop of LSD on it. A handheld ultraviolet lamp is used to show that the drop of LSD glows brightly under UV, but similar in brightness to the clean bright white paper. The LSD glows under both shorter (254nm ) and longer wave UV (365 nm). The light is a Spetroline UV-5NF.

Photo of a glass partially filled with filtered water and covered with plastic in which a single hit of LSD is dissolved. Sips of the dilute liquid are used every few days until the liquid is gone, 4-6 sessions, as an alternative mild stimulant, mood lifter, and to break routine. LSD remains active for over a week stored this way.
