Oct 22, 1993		Methylone -- referred to as MDMA-ONE in his lab notes -- is first bioassayed by Alexander Shulgin, at 10 milligrams. 1 [Details] [More Info] Over the next nine months he and others in his research group work up to 300 mg (initial doses plus redoses).
Dec 12, 1996		The methylone synthesis is published in a 1996 patent, which mentions its potential as an antidepressant. 2
