The addition to Erowid of a monthly column by Scott O. Moore was inspired by conversations with him about his many insights into issues surrounding the use of psychedelics, both on personal and societal levels.

eScottology is an invitation for Scotto to write about his experience of being a sophisticated psychedelic-aware individual in the world, his views of how they are addressed in the news and entertainment industries, impacts on creative work, and other health and intellectual matters.

Scotto, founder of leri-l, entertainer-artist, and current chief editor of TRIP magazine (www.tripzine.com), has over a decade of experience writing about psychedelics, consciousness, and the subculture.

The initial plan for the column is to have monthly entries for one year, starting in May 2003.
