MDMA and Antibiotics

I decided to write about my experience for the sake of harm reduction purposes since I have searched the web and very little clinical and anecdotal information is on this subject.

I had been taking a 10 day course of amoxicillin antibiotic (2000MG a day) and this experience takes place the day after my last dose. Before doing this I was aware that there were some potential risks by mixing MDMA and amoxicillin however it was the day after my last dose and I wanted to roll my nuts off with my friend who had never rolled before. The MDMA we took was tested positive with a marquis however the quality was mediocre at best.

I insufflated one capsule and ate the other at the same time. My other friend did the same. We were feeling nothing so far and he had to get his girlfriend back to her place so we headed out. My friend had a 3rd capsule still waiting for him.

After he took his girl home he insufflated the 3rd capsule and we drove to the city to meet a man about our friend Mary Jane. During this drive I started to get way fucking high and rolling hard. He was driving my car and my friends were massaging me in the back. The first 30 minutes of this roll were GOD perfect.

I believe that first roll I felt was from the insufflated capsule. We got to our destination which at this time was about an hour after we dosed. I felt soooo good at this point rolling so hard.

And then my hands went numb, the most powerful vibrating/buzzing/tingling body high took over my hands and slowly spread to my whole body. I couldn't feel anything with my hands , no surface textures I felt like I could barely feel if I was touching something. I started to get really sweaty and breathing hard and I felt my eyelids drooping. It was awful I felt like I was dying and my friends thought I was just wigging out. But I knew it was the mixing with the antibiotics.

We eventually made it back to my friend's place. I smoked some cannabis and it helped calm down the body a little but I was still vibrating numb. The intensity cooled down ever so slowly by the hour. And I suddenly had to pee a ton too.

I rolled hard from about 9PM to 3AM and did not sleep at all that night and called into work sick because I was drained and beat. My friend who ended up insufflating 2 capsules and eating 1 said he rolled for a very short period of time and was disappointed. I was baffled our experiences were so on the opposite ends of the intensity spectrum.

This was probably the scariest drug experience of my life since I did feel like I was overdosing. I have taken MDMA many times since then and in higher doses and not once have I had an experience like this again.
