NBOMe Is Nice But...

I have taken this drug twice, a mix between two main types of NOBME generally used. Both times sublingually.

Although I found the experience to be generally pretty positive and not really hard on the body, I will not post details of the trip which have been pretty much effectively covered by others. There is one thing about it that really concerns me about it. The first time I took the drug I only took one hit 875 micrograms of the two main NOBME analogues. The one thing that really struck me about it was that during the time, that I really felt like I wanted badly to do a bit more, but I only had the one.

Did it again last night and took two hits as I now had four. Even with the two hits I felt constantly during the experience that I wanted to take more , just add a bit. So about 3 hours in I took the other two hits. That extended the trip somewhat but did not really add much. I still continually had the desire to get just a bit higher. It seems to me that this stuff never seems to reach a level where I am 'tripping enough'. I got the feeling that no matter how much I took it would not seem to be enough.

This stuff has not been used long by people. I understand it is a vasodilator, which means it dilates your blood vessels. Considering I have had major heart surgery in the past it seems to me very stupid that I took the second two hits last night. No one knows how much it will take to kill you and people HAVE died from it. With the pleasantness of the drug and the very real feeling that just a bit more would have been nice, no matter how much I took, could very easily see people taking very high doses and maybe dying.

When I have taken good L, many years ago, I never felt like I wanted more at the time. Only occasionally when coming down would I redose to trip again, no problem. The only times I ever wanted more during an acid trip was when I had done some very unpotent acid. With no drug or alcohol I have ever used have I had such a marked feeling of wanting more during a psychedelic trip. Seems like with this stuff I just 'cannot do enough' whereas I can be satisfied with a fairly mild but good acid type high, never reaching the point where I am holding on by the seat of my pants.

Be careful with it. I would stress that one of the attributes of the drug seems to me a desire to get a bit higher.
