I have taken Gab at low dosages and had no effect (600-900 mg). Others I know have been greatly affected by the same dose so, it depends on the user - everyone is affected differently.
1. Gabapentin will hit me hardest on an empty stomach - at any dosage.
2. Tolerance is built up almost immediately.
3. Gab will make any food I eat shoot out of my other end like a rocket.
Taking Gab for me goes something like this. Day 1 I take 10 300mg pills and have massive euphoria and lots of energy. Day 2 I have to take 20 300mg to have the same effect although some slight blurry vision may occur. Day 3 I have to take 30 300mg to have almost the same effect. Blurry vision is pronounced and all food passes thru the body fast!
By Day 4 taking a larger dose has almost no effect. The only way to achieve the original euphoria is to stop taking it for a week and then start over at the low dosage.
I have taken up to 82 300mg Gabs at once (NOT ON DAY ONE)!. Yes that's 24,600 mg and had no effect. But this is after I have taken it for several days in a row. My largest total daily dose in two sittings was 15,000 mg in the AM and 24,600 mg in the PM for a total of 39,600 mg in one day. At this point taking it is a complete waste of time because no effects are felt.
