||(blotter / tab)
Administered half-tab (500ug) 25C-NBOH, sub-lingual.
Not feeling any effects yet. Still have tab between top lip and gum. Playing some piano, just improvising some ideas. I think for this trip I will leave the record button on for the duration.
Starting to feel the physical effects a little. The back of my head feels heavy and there is a tiny amount of nausea. Nothing significant though.
Still didn't notice any psychedelic effects or visuals. I finished recording what I was playing and turned the main lights on. Things do seem sharper and more vibrant. Still feeling a little bit uncomfortable in the neck/shoulders.
Swallowed the blotter, now noticing some visual disturbances. Will continue playing piano to see what auditory effects it has.
Auditory effects are significant, compared to the visuals. Slowing down and speeding up on the piano has noticeable effects on the surroundings as well as on pitch. Playing faster seems to make the tone feel sharper, and same to the contrary. This is a lot of fun to play with.
Still feeling quite nauseous so went to get some tea and have a smoke (tobacco) outside. There aren't a whole lot of obvious visuals but there are some broader, acid-like feelings which I could imagine really getting absorbed with on higher doses.
I'm also noticing some unsteadiness with motor coordination when I walk. This could be due to 'trip-toeing' around in an over-conscious attempt to be quiet (everyone in the house is asleep). I enjoyed watching my cats play but, surprisingly, didn't get much pleasure from stroking them. I'm wondering if it's because of some mild vasoconstriction in the hands (combined with the cold outdoor temperature), desensitising them physically. This is pure speculation, but I have heard that vasoconstriction is possible with these compounds.
After this point I went back to my room and listened to some music, which was nice to get lost in. I was surprised by the CEVs which were unexpectedly strong given that open eye and mental effects were almost unnoticeable. Nausea was pretty much gone by now. Within another hour or so I felt completely sober. No noticeable after-effects. Just chilled, listening to music and chatting to friends online. A pleasant but quite uneventful dose, all told.
All in all this dosage was too low to get any significant psychedelic effects. However it was pleasant, and did make me feel quite open and sociable (which is rare for me on psychedelic chems - I generally prefer to stick to experience them alone). I could imagine that a 500ug dose can be quite fun to go out with or take with some friends. But for desired psychedelic effects it really isn't enough. Next time (after a week or two to avoid tolerance) I will take 750ug.
