I had been using kratom (varied dose) for a while and the dosage started to get very high. For a few weeks I endured the bad effects but had to go to the doctor and he thought I had a heart attack! Fortunately I did not. My blood pressure was very high.
The withdrawal was bad but not overwhelming. It took a few weeks. Near retirement and I avoid stress like the plague.
I think kratom is fine in moderation like anything else.
