Citation:   Z. "Five-Month Wonder Drug: An Experience with Amphetamines (Adderall XR) (exp102149)". Erowid.org. Jul 8, 2019. erowid.org/exp/102149

DOSE:
30 mg oral Amphetamines (daily)
BODY WEIGHT: 160 lb
I started taking adderall XR because I was having difficulty staying focused at work. My job consists of many tedious office job tasks and bores the hell out of me. I was technically diagnosed with ADHD, but got through college okay without medication, and am unsure if I really have 'ADHD'. The stimulants boost me up and make me fidget more, rather than give me a smooth calm focus, which I hear is typical of many with ADHD taking stimulants.

On adderall I could suddenly finish my tedious work in about half the time and was motivated to learn as much as I could. My coworkers and boss noticed the quality and quantity of my work improve and respected me more. This was very satisfying! I was quickly promoted to more interesting work and was able to improve things in my personal life as well. Talking to girls in a witty, fun, and direct manner, keeping a good sleeping schedule, working out, and cooking healthy meals all came easier.

I honestly wish I had started this 'wonder drug' earlier. If I had adderall in college my grades would have been amazing and I would have probably landed a very different and more important job than I have today. But as they say, pride comes before the fall, and after about 5 months of incredible results I now get severe migraines every time I take a 30 MG XR dose and am forced to take a break from adderall.

Other less severe side effects I get are: loss of weight/appetite, less sleep per night on average, increased social anxiety in uncomfortable situations, dry mouth/dehydration, and increased fidgeting.

I've heard dexedrine has less side effects so I plan to talk to my doctor about switching to that. Reading experience reports got me interested in Vyvanse as well. Overall, adderall has given me ability to live life in the way I truly want, and at the low therapeutic dose that was prescribed to me.

PS- I was in vegas and took a 20 MG XR right before going to the club and downed 5 drinks in 3 hours no problem and had a great time for about 4 hours then started puking because I was so drunk and dehydrated. The adderall masks the effects of the alcohol and it is almost impossible to gauge how much you have drank by feel.
