A friend of mine offered me a brownie on the way to the airport as a flight 'enhancer'. Decided to take him up on it and ate one (.4 gram per brownie) just as we pulled up to the airport around 11am. Got my ticket and made it through security by 11:45am and was feeling 100% normal.
At about 12:00pm I first started to feel a strange sensation in my head. This sensation continued to build and expanded through my body and by the time we boarded the plane at 12:20 I was baked. My body was tingling and time was slow as can be.
Settled into my seat and listened to the safety info from the flight attendants. Their speech is normally so boring and annoying but at this point it was very entertaining. Was just sitting there giggling to myself the whole time. Everything was good until we moved into position for take off. The plane moving was the most exciting yet scary feeling I had ever experienced. The massive engine noise and being forced into my seat by the acceleration was incomprehensible at the time.
Once I settled in after take off the next hour of the flight was magical. The high just couldn't stop building. I slept for about 20 minutes and woke up even higher!! Ended up landing in Detroit around 2:00pm just as baked as could be. The flight attendant had to make me exit the plane because I was so content just sitting in my seat looking at the other planes out the window.
Now the layover in Detroit was hectic. Looking at the flight display board there were 4 flights to the city I was going to and I ended up picking the wrong one the first time and had to walk around the airport a few times. But Detroit has a tunnel with trippy rainbow lights that goes under the airport so walking under that twice was very nice. Bought a snack and a drink and had a nice feast of Cinnabon, chips and dr pepper.
Boarded the next flight around 3:45pm, still baked. Take off wasn't as bad as the first time as I was expecting it, but still was somewhat scary.
Flew for about an hour and then I noticed I was coming down. Just spent the rest of the flight looking out the window giggling at the small cars and houses listening to my iPod content as could be. Landed at 6:00pm and by the time I got off the plane and got my baggage I was relatively normal!
