This report details the emotional, behavioral, and physical effects of the drug combination of: carisoprodol, alaprazolm, kratom, and tetrahydrocannabinol. All substances were administered within the period of one hour--on an empty stomach--with the total experience lasting a little over four hours total. Effects were severe sedation, impairment of motor function, relaxation, shallow breathing, disorientation, confusion, and extrema nausea. The length of the experience was roughly four hours, with a two day recovery period until absolute baseline. I had apt experience and moderate tolerance to carisoprodol, small experience with tetrahydrocannabinol and alprazolam, but not tolerance to either, and no tolerance or experience with Mitragyna Speciosa.
Mindset: Cynical, but average. Neither mad nor happy.
So here's kratom: Mitragyna Speciosa. Thai. I found it wedged between some legal-high forms and tracked down a site, read advice, purchased after ascertaining its legality. Shiny cuffs were never my thing, and the notion of a substance that acts on mu-opiod receptors and didn't promote clamped wrists made me do funny things with my brow.

Here's to the interwebs. A toast to legal-highs. Of course, I had decided that I would try it on it's own only after putting it through the wringer. Hand propped behind my pillow, a cell phone charger shot red through the room--an idea: Why not combine it with an opioid potentiator? Carisoprodol was readily available. I had a gram of the green to greet this gift with. I figured xanax, if dosed right, would be a good fit. By mid-night, the purchase had been made. Plenty of comic-sans fonted sites advised a double brew with acidic juice.
Machinations were in motion.
2:21 PM Double brewed, twelve grams. The stuff is vile. The stuff will make a man's face prick with blood from the sheet bitter it emits. I down 13 grams, carefully measured. Too much. Comic-sans said OD was impossible though, and through research into the biological processing revealed the same.
Go broke or go home is what the idiots chant. I plug my nose—down with 13 grams. In between sips I chew two generic, 350 milligram carisoprodol pills (“Soma”). The bitter and the putrid make me gag, but I manage to chew a alprazolam pill as well (“Xanax”). No food is in my stomach--the euphoria should be nice.
2:39 PM I had brewed three cups of vile shit and the process took an agonizing eighteen minutes to complete. If hell exists and is a beer bong of kratom, I'll become a devout Christian. Cross my heart, hope to die.
I light a pre-packed bowl. Here's to masochism: I double check my med consumption, knowing my limits and tolerance. I don't want to go into CNS depression, but I am far from a weezing mess. Reassured, I keep puffing the mid and finish the bowl in around three minutes. Scatter the ashes: To the fallen cannabis sativa, massacred for my masochism.
2:59 PM Overall, while the THC has started taking effect, the other substances are lagging behind. Their influence can be felt. They're like saplings pushing through packed snow--but I'm getting a little impatient. Ho hum. Porn and guitar pass the time.
3:10 PM Lift off! Cut into me--I am (mostly) numb! The carisoprodol can be felt now. No peak, but the body high is there. The slight euphoria. The taste in one's mouth.
Xanax is less noticeable, but I'm sure it's working by now. Alprazolam has no “high” to speak of, but the mildness and sleepiness is coming in drips and drops like the leakage of a badly mended faucet. I'm getting there. And while the weed is peaked, it will stay so. Weed is patient. Weed is kind.
Kratom, no so much. I feel it. It is something different than a “heady” hydrocodone high, but it's floating. Right...there. Over my nose. Over my chest. To the left of everything, like someone has made an outline of my atop my body, and pushed it to the right ever so slightly... .
3:30 PM Dear cannabis sativa, hello. We've rarely met, but I think I need to thank thee, milord of the green, for thy servant Valentine would be upchucking his liver, spleen, stomach, and gonads if not for thee.
The kratom has peaked. The carisoprodol has long since peaked. The alprazolam makes me nod. But my stomach...my stomach feels like it's a washing machine filled with bricks. Walking is impossible. My legs wobble. Muscles are relaxed from the carisoprodol, but they tense at the slightly provocation from Mr. Washing Machine. The weed makes my muscles twitch here and there, warm waves bleeding to and fro.
All's made up for by lying down, however. The body high is like an orgasm of electrochemical transmissions. An utter chill. Satan with a leather jacket, chilled, and served in a glass of ice pales to how cool I feel.
My mind is sedated. Sedated. Sedated.
4:00 The body high has lessened a bit, but the nausea remains. Surprisingly, it is still all but intense. I try to eat. My stomach won't allow it. I lie down and think about Wittgenstein, and the a priori philosophy. And Italians. My mood is subdued to an extrema. Narced out, is the word, but in a very different way than—say—hydrocodone. Instead it is punctuated by sickness and intense movement of the mind. The world spins. It is pleasurable, when Mr. Washing Machine allows it to be, and I am content to let the world change in climate all it wants for the time being.
Everything fades to a degree, but conversation is still feasible. Albeit with ample slurring. Math is another thing altogether though.
Whatever mu-opiods are, I'm impressed.
5:00 PM A full hour, and I'm finally coming down, steadily, slowly. I can sit up not, but the high is still very much “alive.”
5:45 PM Movement. Too much of it, to be precise. I had to break for the bathroom and make some dry heaves. Nothing came out, but surprisingly, everything feels better. Almost immediately I can walk more than before. Motion blur and sickness still occurs, but less so. The body now pulsates slightly.

The carisoprodol is more or less gone. Angel dust, simply loosening the fibers. The xanax might be working, but noticeably less so, it at all. The weed is all but a memory.
7:00 PM It's over. So to speak.
The high lingers like cologne on a badly groomed man. I feel it, then I don't. It pops up, then subsides. The nausea is still surprisingly strong, but not enough to prevent me from walking or eating. All other trace drugs are gone. Overall, I am returning to baseline.
8:00 PM I scream “baseline.” As with an intense opioid experience, I am off kilter, but I'm here. Nausea lingers, but not uncomfortably so anymore. A headache seems to be brewing, but not a bad one.
I scream, “sleep.”
Aftermath and Recovery
Sluggish thoughts at work. Slightly lowered performance. Nothing major, but enough to be noticeable. A cup of good 'ol joe and some running livens me up enough to not notice. Two days after baseline was reached, and I'm utterly normal.
Kratom is a powerful opioid-like high that surprised me with how intense it could be, even considering the influence of the other substances. As a while, the combination was very synergistic. The experience was enjoyable, and while the major downside (nausea) was enough to be a deal breaker for most, I didn't mind being lethargic and lying around for a couple of hours.
Worth noting is how little the weed synergized with the kratom. The latter killed the former, and the latter was even more enjoyable to an extent. The xanax seemed to have little effect as well, though like the weed, it assuaged nausea.
A solid combination if not for the sickness.
