Boring prequel: Been working my way towards LSD over the years and taking my time, because of some history of bipolars in family. Previous psychedelic experiences limited to; 2cb, shrooms, K.

Was at a nice festival with friends, perfect setting and all, all of us taking a single blotter supposedly 100mcs. After ~2 hours not much happening (did shrooms the day before), we all agree to give it some more time but generally don't believe in it. Slight bodyload and some visual distortion but no oev. I'd been looking forward to my first time on the big dandy acid, so it was unsatisfying.

Luckily I had some leftovers ~10mgs (rough estimate) of 2c-b in an alcohol solution, which by itself wouldn't give me real visuals. I took it when I had the feeling of plateau or was sure that it wouldn't completely take me by surprise (est T+3) and once it got working it was really nice. The LSD didn't seem to carry as much bodyload as I was used to from 2c-b, and there seemed to be some synergy between the two. It wasn't the usual 2c 'breathing' visuals. ie. when looking at some cloth with a mandala, it just kept spinning around which wouldn't happen on 2c-b.

All in all it really saved the night to have some backup psychedelic 'catalyst' in case of degraded acid. A trip-'safety' button the opposite way of carrying a benzo, I guess most people would just do some more acid, but we didn't have any, and it was also more comfortable doing a known drug to spark the existing dose when in unknown waters.
