Okay, let's start this off by specifying the seriousness of this drug. Pharms like this are not to be toyed with if you're not knowledgeable of their possible effects.

I had obtained thirteen 20mg capsules of Focalin XR from a buddy of mine as a trade for some extremely potent cannabis extract (BHO). I researched the chemical in the pills, dexmethylphenidate, and found that it had very potent stimulant effects in most users, and was used commonly to treat ADD. I hadn't had the chance to use stims in quite a while, as my usual 'drug dealer', for lack of a better term, had been completely dry for nearly 4 months, and I was itching to try this new drug.

I went up the road to a friend's house who was having a Spring Break party (that ended up stretching out over 4 days) when I noticed that other people were doing coke, Molly and other drugs. I snuck off to the bathroom and fished into my backpack for my 'pill station' as I've come to call it: a bowl-like container, my old ID, and a wooden cologne bottle cap that comes greatly in handy when crushing anything, pill wise. I poured one capsule out to find that it was full of annoying beads like Adderal caps. Upon crushing the beads using my convenient tools, I separated the powder into two lines, about equal size. I insnuffilated both within a minute and immediately began to notice the effects. I felt as if I was on cocaine, but without the numbness of the face and nasty drips; in fact, the drips got were sweet in taste, candy-like almost.

[T0:00-0:10 time: ~2200]: I immediately felt euphoric and extremely engaged with my surroundings. The music playing in the background was ten times better than it was when I walked into the party. The initial head rush was amazing. I sat down at the breakfast bar and began drinking a beer, which tasted amazing.

[T0:30-1:30] I actively engaged others in conversation, felt more confident and outgoing, I even landed the girl I'd had my eye on since I came out of the bathroom. We ended up making out for about 15 minutes, and it felt surreal. Senses of touch were highly elevated; hot, cold, wet, dry, rough and smooth were extremely exaggerated. After said female and myself ceased sucking face, I went to the bathroom where I did another bump- my attitude at that point was that if 20mg of this magical substance would propel me to go out of my comfort zone this much (I'm mildly introverted), another 20mg would work wonders for my social situation.

Second dose [time: ~2330]: Almost immediately, I felt the same euphoria from the first dose, except much more intense. I left the bathroom with my bag in hand and noticed that it felt extremely lightweight, almost weightless in fact. I had a spring in my step and a smile on my face. I sat on the couch and took a heavy bong rip, exhaling with none of the usual coughing. After a few more rips, the effects of the cannabis began to set in. This surprisingly did not kill the buzz I got from the focalin, but added to the euphoria. I felt happy, stress-free, like I had butterflies in my stomach. The female I spoke of earlier joined me on the couch and sort of cuddled up with me, and aptly told me that I felt really warm. I hadn't realized it prior to that, but I was burning up. I went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror to find my face flushed and my pupils extremely pinned, as if I was staring at the sun. This did not discourage me from redosing.

Third dose [time: ~0045]: I did the third capsule on the breakfast bar, as the party had died down a little and a good many people had left. My female friend again joined me at the bar, where she asked what it was I was doing. I told her about the drug, explained that it was a stimulant and that I had no prior experience with it. She asked me for a capsule, as she wished to try it. I then poured both capsules into my container, crushed them both into a fine powder and cut the piles to near-exact halves, then subsequently cut the piles into lines. I did my two and she did hers, and she immediately reported the same extreme euphoria and environmental connection I had felt upon my first dose. My experience this time around was a tad different: my heart rate dramatically increased (from ~100 bpm to ~140 bpm) for about 5 minutes and then dropped back to normal. I also noticed myself sweating profusely from my face and hands, and my jaw began to clinch a tad, comparable to the clenching one may experience when on MDMA. The euphoria was twice as intense, and accompanying it was an 'I'm fucking invincible!!' mindset, which prompted the behaviors I partook in almost immediately, including sudden binge-drinking of liquor and outward cockiness and flirtation with aforementioned female. I felt like the life of the party: this wonderful drug had transformed me from a guy who rarely parties, usually stays at home and gets drunk or stoned or whatever by himself or a couple very close friends, into the man of the hour. I was out of my comfort zone by miles, but at the same time, I was in my element.

Fourth and final dose [time: ~0145]: This time was much different. I was pretty drunk, noticeably stoned prior to drinking, and the focalin plateau I had reached with dose 3 were starting to downgrade noticeably. I snuck off to the bathroom to relieve myself and do another pill, and upon leaving the main scene of the party (i.e., a TV surrounded by drunk people passing a bong around), I found I was followed by my female friend yet again. She asked for another pill, and I prepped and cut up another one for us both. I did my lines and immediately felt something different. The drunken feeling was gone, the stoned feeling also gone, I felt a rush of pure energy flow down by body from my head to my toes, and immediately my left leg cramped up, and boy did it hurt. The cramp came and went quickly, the bolting energy remaining. I noticed myself speed walking back to the remainder of the group, my friend in tow. The jaw clenching soon followed this dose, and strangely enough, I got a horrible case of the munchies. I ate an entire jar of peanut butter with a spoon over the course of an hour. It was really good peanut butter. The effects randomly cut off at about 0345, and I felt rather stoned and drunk again.

Aftermath: I ended up falling asleep in the guest room with my female friend, and we both slept from the time we went to sleep (~0400) until 1600 the next day. Upon waking up, I immediately felt horribly depressed, like the entire world took a dump on me. This feeling evaporated as soon as I took a nice bong rip and got some food in my body. The remainder of the day, I experienced heart palpitations and random outbursts of intense sweating, followed by clamminess of the skin and an intense heaviness in my eyes. I gave the remaining pills to my friend, who ended up selling them for $5 a pop to buy more pot for the party.

I've done it a couple times since and I've found that in normal doses (20-40mg), it can give a humongous boost to one's concentration and aspiration to 'get shit done'. It also seems to have a promising effect on treating my hangovers from alcohol, as I'm on it while currently typing this and last night, I vomited all over my bathroom from intense drinking.
