Sleep After Provigil

I take provigil fairly regularly, but always upon waking. Today I took it late, I had a lot to get done. I took 400 at 12 noon.

At 10 I wanted to sleep, went to bed, wide awake, ready for anything except sleep. I never take anything for sleep, it just always happens naturally, so I have no tolerance for these meds: I took 20mg zaleplon and 15mg hydrocodone at 11pm (knowing this would certainly accomplish my goal) and I'm wide awake and not remotely sedated. It's presently 2am, and I'm intently researching, but definitely not even sleeping. Interesting interactions with modafinil and sedatives / narcotics.
