I have been experimenting a bit with Morning Glory seeds. I bought them online from a reputable Dutch headshop: organic, non-treated MG seeds.
First time: I selected 30 seeds, a low dosage just to try and get a feel of the effects. Ground them up in the vitamix with some apple juice and consumed it slowly over an hour. My digestive system was not completely empty, but I had eaten last about four hours ago so I thought it was safe.
The effects came up slowly over the next few hours. I was laying in my sofa outside on the porch, staring at a fire and the trees. It felt a bit like coming up on lsd, but very mild. Had no nausea for the first hour, while I was laying down. Smoked a joint and I felt the effects a bit stronger. You know the feeling you get in your face when you take lsd? I felt that. Looking at the trees, I felt like they were communicating with me, I could feel and sense their spirit. Which was cool!
After about an hour I decided to get up and walk around a bit. Woah, bad idea. The effects came on stronger and I started to get some visual distortions. Looked in the mirror and I was very pale with huge pupils. But the worst was the stomach cramps. Nausea, cramps, very intense and painful. Decided I should throw up. But that was not enough, had about two hours of the most painful cramps, vomiting and diarrhea. Felt poisoned. When my system was finally cleared out, I felt much better but completely exhausted.
When my system was finally cleared out, I felt much better but completely exhausted.
Second time: did more research to try and avoid the nausea. Read a lot about extraction methods, but the thing that stood out to me was that the nausea seems to be caused by the seed husks. So I thought maybe I should try and sprout the seeds. I selected 60 seeds this time and sprouted them overnight in some purified water. The next day almost all of them were sprouted and looked kinda freaky, like little prehistoric insects.
So I easily removed the husks, and had a nice little pile of sprouts. Put that in my mouth and chewed. Tasted nice, a little nutty. I kept them in my mouth for about ten minutes, as I read that the LSA is better absorbed through the mucus membranes than in the stomach. They started to taste a bit bitter after a while, like LSD. Swallowed them.
I had an empty stomach and bowels this time. But still felt a little nauseous. I have a very sensitive stomach. Ate a little plain yoghurt and ginger to see if it would help with the nausea, but that was not a good idea. Threw up again, but I was not in any pain like last time. Felt very tired after, skin was very pale, pupils started dilating. Took a nap for an hour.
I woke up feeling a lot better. The effects were coming on stronger this time, very LSD-like. I decided to take my dog for a walk in the forest. That was magical! Everything seemed to be illuminated, plants and trees were shining like jewels. I saw some spiderwebs in the trees and just stared at them a long time. So pretty! The evening sunlight through the trees was amazing! It made me so happy I wanted to dance. I ate blackberries and a wild apple and it was just the best fruit I have ever tasted. Saw some farm animals and it was like I had a connection to their spirits, like we could communicate without words. I did not have real hallucinations, but the dosage was quite low and I felt like I was on the threshold. Effects lasted for hours, I lost track of time but I guess about six hours.

This was definitely a good method, but next time I will change some things. I will not ingest the sprouts anymore, just keep them in my mouth a bit longer and then spit them out. No eating for the first couple of hours, and increase the dosage to about 100 seeds. All in all a good experience!
