Anyway, I tried MG seeds (CWE) a few times over the last two months, but I wanted to provide a trip report that I feel best encapsulates the ideal approach. So...first of all - cold water extraction (CWE). There's no better way to go. I initially tried chewing and spitting (sub-lingual), and while I tripped, there was so much initial sedation that all I could do was sleep.
Two weeks ago, while on vacation at the beach, I tried a CWE of about 100 seeds, using 20 oz. of distilled water, a few squirts of lemon juice, and MG seeds finely ground in a coffee grinder. The extract time was about 2 hours. I drank the water, leaving behind the mush, at 10 AM.
I drank the water, leaving behind the mush, at 10 AM.
A week later, and still at the beach, I decided to roll with a 400 seed CWE (time of extraction, 12 hours). Still using Distilled Water and Lemon Juice, I again drank the water (but not the mush) at 10:00 am. Went to the beach, and felt onset by 10:30. I felt the sedation beginning, so I opted to walk a 2.5 mile round trip expedition on the beach. The waves spoke to me, the rocks spoke to me, and the sand spoke to me. Time distortion was extreme...one hour felt like four. Visuals were mild but present. I returned to our beach spot, and found that we had visitors. My mother, sister, and brother in law(s), my niece and nephew, and an unknown (to me) female friend and her daughter were there. We went back to the house for lunch (12:30), and I struggled a little bit to keep up with conversation and dining (I tried to eat some potato chips, but the mouth feel was awful). After that, we went back down to the beach. My brother in law knew what I was doing, and he has had some psychedelic experiences in the past, so he kept asking me how I was doing. As he and I were walking back to the beach from the house, he asked again. I told him that it was all I could do not to stop and check out the flowers. He asked, 'Which flowers?'. I said, 'Whatever flowers. Any fucking flowers...'. To me, MG seeds make me very attracted to flowers. Someday, someone should study that...
Anyway, I tripped hard until about 7:00 that evening, with a gradual come-down. Visuals were mostly suggestive rather than explicit ('hey, that bush looks like a face', or 'wow, this rock looks like a gremlin')...similar to low doses of LSD but easily controllable. Conversation was tolerable, but I tried to be the funny guy a bit too often, especially to the unknown (to me) female friend ;-0
All in all, and in keeping with Castaneda, I feel that the MG seeds (tlitliltzin) is my new ally. This ain't a 'party drug', but if approached carefully and with respect, it is mind opening.
This is not something that I would do for everyday (or even every week) use...I've noticed that my desire to consume alcohol diminishes for a few days after a MG trip

Finally, a lot of MG trip reports indicate leg cramps and/or nausea. The CWE method did not produce either of these effects on me...on no occasion using these seeds have I felt either effect...just the aforementioned sedation with the sub-lingual method.
