I am using this for bipolar disorder. My normal medication Trileptal was no longer working. I just wanted to kill myself everyday. I was extremely suicidal. I was very angry at inanimate objects.

I tried several other mood stabilizers before being put into a new classification of medication. My doctor kind of laughed casually and said that I could take 4 mg to start if I felt like it. I thought sure I trust this guy why not take 4 mg.

First off, I wanted to off my self, I was willing to try anything. Secondly, I wanted to off my husband with a knife. I was willing to try anything. Lastly, my skin was crawling and I couldn't sit still I couldn't stop yelling at anyone and everything. I felt paranoid. I was cycling rapidly throughout the day.

So I take all 4 pills and slept for hours. I have 2 kids to take care of and this was not going to work. I felt AMAZING after I woke up. I actually called my doctor, like he asked me to, and told him that it felt like drugs and I felt great. I never talk to him or listen to anything he has to say. Some minor thing happened such as losing the remote and my normal response would be to break the TV and then blame my husband for it while holding a knife to his throat, but instead I said 'It's not a big deal.'

I couldn't believe that I had said that. I felt like someone had possessed me, because I had not said something so calm in years.

The next day I only took one and still slept for hours. I met with my doctor who told me to take a 1/4 of 1 mg. He knew this would happen and then acted surprised when it did.

I have been taking 1/4 of a milligram 3 times a day and it has been working great so far. I am supposed to take it twice a day, but I can feel it wearing off and I slip back into the hulk. I am hoping to go higher on the dosage so I can feel amazing all day long like I did when I took 4 mgs.
