This report sums up my experience in my best recollection. I would consider this a light experience as I only experienced short waves of full blown psychedelia. Take note that I am one of the worst skeptics, as a result I often have a reverse placebo effect.

I brewed my huasca using the egg white method I found on a forum, and made a mug of Rue tea. The rue was awful, but chug-able. 30 minutes later I chugged the half cup of boiled down Acacia confusa rootbark tea. The come-up was extremely long and I had almost given up on it until an hour in when I was sitting on my back porch with my wife and noticed strange patterns in the branches of the trees in my yard. I decided to look into the distance at the mountain ranges, and that's when things got serious. Suddenly the ground around me seemed to lift up as if forming a wall between me and the mountains, and the trees warped towards the center of my vision. It was still there if I blinked or looked around, but moving too much caused it to snap quite quickly back to normal.

T 1:30
At this point, my mind was blown. Now, my coordination was failing fast, and movement was getting difficult, but I was so excited that I took a chance and looked around at more things, mostly objects forming patterns that never existed before. Out of nowhere two stray dogs come running up to my house, in I thought I was just tripping, but no they were real- My wife started playing with them, it turns out they are very friendly.

T 2:00
At this point the trippy-ness is getting more intense and out of nowhere my dad comes home from work early. (My wife and I live at my dads house. ) My dad is really cool with stuff like this, so he smoked up and started tripping me out, quite effectively. (He was a full blown hippie in the 70's, he knows all about this stuff.) His hands at first became jellyfish and he waved them around hilariously, I could not stop laughing for my life, and this set the mood for the rest of the trip. Then his hands became the mouth thing from the movie Alien...

Anyways.

I went inside and started cooking dinner for my wife and I And I realized just how messed up I was, my thought pattern was so totally random and jittery I couldn't follow anything long enough to accomplish a task. Conversation was becoming impossible, I 'burped' every couple words, loosing track of the conversation, occasionally finishing thoughts with other thoughts.
I 'burped' every couple words, loosing track of the conversation, occasionally finishing thoughts with other thoughts.
In other words, my mind was complete nonsense. Everything was random.

T 2:45
I was unable to taste dinner, and I really had no appetite anyways. I was getting very disoriented, unable to focus on ANYTHING. My dad thought this was hilarious, but my wife was starting to get aggravated, as she was now having to care for our daughter alone, plus she's pregnant so her mood is unstable to boot. I felt so sorry for myself that I went to lay down. I closed my eyes and the the visuals were insane! Moving patterns, faces, and scenery, it was as if my imagination was amplified!

T 3:30
This really cheered me up so I got up and spent some time with my family, moving trippy like throughout the house. I could feel that I was coming down, as rational thought was seeping back into my head. Thing were still entertaining, so I just enjoyed it until everyone but my wife and I went to bed.

T 4:30
Back to baseline, with a mild headache and a positive feeling of accomplishment. We put on the movie Ghost Ship, which is normally very cheesy to me, but for once it actually scared me a little (the maggot part.) After the movie we went to bed and I had incredible lucid dreams about magic and heroic feats.

Overall I had an awesome time, no nausea, no purge, no discomfort - aside from the delirium (which I find fun anyways- Diph for the win!) I am very happy with this substance and will up the dose next time, and enjoy some soul searching!

LAST THING, I SWEAR: Please only purchase your Acacia from farms or RESPONSIBLE natural harvesters to ensure future generations of psychonauts can enjoy this wonderful tree!
