Ah, Methocarbamol, I consider you a cousin of guaifenesin, and you're just about as worthless, IMO.
For what it's worth, I got into this mess by pulling a muscle in my back and deciding to forsake the Tizanidine (Zanaflex) this time around because one, I like them a little bit too much, and two, I wanted to spare my liver a bit of that abuse this time around.
750mg: Did absolutely nothing. No effects whatsoever, not even to help relax my pulled muscle. Stayed on this dosage for a few days anyway.
1500mg: About the same as above only with the slightest hint of therapeutic effect, but just barely there; as in 'yea, I can get out of bed, but no way in hell am I bending over or reaching for anything!'
2250mg: Better, but not by much at all. At this point, it's been about a week since I've gotten the bottle. Should have stuck with the Zanaflex.
3000mg: Holy hell did I ever get nauseous the first time I breached this dose!
3000mg: Holy hell did I ever get nauseous the first time I breached this dose!
Being in a fucking car didn't help! I consider this my 'normal' dose now, and taking it thrice daily, it does have a relaxing, and light sedative effect. In other words, it's doing what it's supposed to, and I just consider the sedative effect a bonus. Believe me, I deserve it after living through that nausea!
My all in all? I couldn't recommend neither this compound nor my somewhat reckless dosing scale.
