Last night I decided to try Coleus. I read somewhere that it was mildly psychoactive, so I thought why not.

The day before this I took around 20 Coleus leaves and put them in a blender. They ground quite well actually. So the next night I made tea out of it, which tastes pretty good. I also stored up around 10 leaves the night before, without grinding them up so I ate them as I drank the tea.

I felt relaxed and a grin came on my face. Supposedly Coleus makes you dreams more vivid, so I was going to try to go to sleep to see the effects. I finished the tea and went to bed. I laid there, not able to fall asleep. I started hearing things, faint, but certainly there. I would hear music, but when I would concentrate on it, it would go away. I think this is sleep deprivation, but I'm not sure. After a while of listening to these strange sounds, I realize I have to go pee. Right outside the bathroom door is another door which was halfway open. I get done peeing and walk out the door. The other door started to open, but when I would concentrate on it. It would stop. It looked like it would just open for eternity, but it wouldn't move an inch.

This startled me and I could not fall asleep that night but I do know one thing from this experience, Coleus certainly does work.
