Having been through a fairly rough time at school and home, I had left school early and went to a friends house. My friend's mother smokes a lot of pot. She had offered me some synthetic that she had recently bought; as a regular toker myself I figured there's no harm in trying. I'd only heard good things about it!

Since then, I have been so traumatized by the experience that the smell, look and taste of smoke all together means I haven't even been able to have as little as a Cigarette again.

On this day, I packed a cone and took a pretty big hit. Before I even had a chance to put the bong down, a scary psychotic trip had well and truly kicked in. Time started going so slowly, and everything in super slo-mo. I'd lost all feeling in my face, arms and legs. I dropped the bong, that shattered as it hit the floor. I then felt myself falling, but it felt as though it had taken half an hour to hit the ground. I remember screaming and not being able to stop the fall that was happening so slowly. I had fallen face first and broken my nose, cheek and wrist as well as cutting myself on the broken bong I'd fallen on. Then the real trio kicked in.

Over the period of 2 hours, which had felt like 3 weeks to me; I felt as though I was being reincarnated and waking up in an empty church. I am not religious at all, and don't attend church. A few times I had momentarily thought I'd genuinely woken up a new person. I tried to stand up, only to fall flat on my face again and experience everything all over again. My friend's mother could not wake me, or get a response at all so called the ambulance out of fear. I woke up again in Hospital, cuffed to the bed because I'd supposedly tried to hit my head on the floor violently.

This was such a scary experience, and has really changed my life. It's been 3 years since and this is the first time I've had the abilty to put it all into words. This synthetic stuff is so scary!

Had I known what this stuff can do and that there is no monitoring in this industry, the  companies can put anything they like into it, making it so much worse than real weed, I would never have tried it!
