DOSE:
0.25 cups   Kava (liquid)
BODY WEIGHT: 170 lb
I am a 20 year old male that has bipolar ii disorder. I have taken a ton of pharmas to manage my condition with limited success. My depressions can be described as anxious depressions where it becomes very hard for me to think and feel any sort of emotion. I was in a really bad place until I started meditating and drinking kava kava on a daily basis. Because of Kava I am now able to hold a part time job and go to school (I have a 3.7 in college and am taking 18 units).

I first tried kava at a kava bar over in Hawaii and from the day I have been hooked. I would describe the effects of kava as being extremely relaxing and euphoric. Kava eliminates anxiety, in my opinion, way better then benzos do. Also kava is not addictive and really has no bad side effects. I use extremely high quality tonga kava root that I purchase from an online store.

It relieves anxiety without significant intoxication.
