Potentiation of 2C-B with Deprenyl

Hi, I'm just submitting this report because of the difficulty I had in finding information about combining 2C-B with deprenyl, an irreversible MAO-B inhibitor that I take 5mg of sublingually every day.

Amid the legions of people who think it's useful to bang on about how insanely dangerous it is to combine things with deprenyl despite not having any experience with it, I found a couple of comments saying that it's fine, but that it greatly potentiates 2C-B's effect.

This was my first time trying 2C-B, but I'm very experienced with LSD, MDMA, psilocybin and various other things. Also, the last time I had acid was about 5 days before this.

The recommendations that I found suggested cutting the desired dose by a factor of three, I decided to play it safe and start with 5mg. After about 2 hours I was feeling it quite strongly. Not overwhelming at all, but fun with fairly marked visual hallucinations. After about 5 hours, I felt like it might be starting to wear off, so I took another 7.5mg.

When that finally hit me, the experience was really quite strong and engaging. It reminded me of mescaline, but with a fun and friendly and much gentler vibe. There's a real 'kindness' to it that is markedly different from LSD or MDMA, which are very forceful and authoritative.

The only downside was that even after about 8 hours following the top-up dose, I felt no release from the experience and I really needed to sleep, so I took 2mg xanax. Unlike taking xanax on LSD, which kind of allows me to slip out the door when it's not looking, the grip of the 2C-B was unrelenting; but, I was able to fall asleep after a while.

While taking deprenyl, it will definitely necessitate cutting my 2C-B dose. I think I would have been fine taking 10mg at the beginning, which it what I think I'll do next time.

Deprenyl does potentiate 2C-B very noticeably, but with the lower dose there were no unpleasant side effects. Really, it was super awesome and I now love this drug more than MDMA and LSD.
