First Time Trying Tapentadol (Nucynta)

I received 2 Tapentadol pills today, one was 100mg IR, the other is 100mg ER. Withdrawal from oxycodone is starting to present itself.

+0:00 Take 100mg ER orally.
+0:10 Break the 100mg IR in half, crushed up one of the halfs, added cotton and water and pulled it into a syringe. (Note: It wasnt as easy as oxycodone or hydrophone to get it in the syringe. It took a few minutes before all of it was pulled into the syringe, not sure why). Injected the 50mg IR.
+0:11 I got the same feeling as shooting hydromorphone, but no pins and needles, like I usually get. But definitly a rush.
+0:15 The 'rush' feeling went away, and now I'm feeling very similar to when I eat 300-400mg of tramadol. Feels really spaced out, almost a dissociative feeling. Withdrawals have went completely away. Small amount of euphoria.
+0:25 I feel dizzy, almost making me nauseous.
+1:00 No longer feel nauseous, still feel a bit dizzy. The rush from IV'ing is gone. Feel more euphoric and relaxed now. I think its just the 100mg ER I feel now.
+2:30 I'm still feeling it, but only at about 50% of what I originally felt when I first IV'ed. Not coming down though, I think I'm just plateaued.
+3:30 Had something to eat about 20 minutes ago, I'm now at about 25%.

Overall I think this a ok drug to take when detoxing, as it removed the withdrawals and the jonesing. I can also see it as good mood relaxer. Wouldnt want to do it at work, as it doesnt give me any motivation or energy, like oxycodone does.

Next time I'm only going to IV 25mg, as I think the 50mg was a bit too much. (My normal dose of oxycodone is 30mg IV).
