I just started researching herbs a few months ago for chronic pain. Originally I tried smoking certain herbs like Blue Lotus, but did not feel an effect. Although, I might of not smoked enough at that time. I probably smoked about a gram.
I became tired of smoking and felt it was senseless if I did not feel any relief from the herb, so I made an iced tea recently. I filled one small tea ball and let it sit in about one small cup of water for about 40 minutes in the refrigerator.
It was evening so I layed down and I drank about a third of a cup and I immediately felt the calming effects of the herb. I also felt some intermittent numbing.
I think I will continue to take this herb at night or when I want to sleep or just relax.
