After a long Friday, I wished to partake in a good night of sleep... After going through the seemingly never-ending medicine cabinet, I find an almost full bottle of Trazodone HCL 50 MG, the generic of Oleptro. I did some research and in small doses, it can be used as a sleep aid; in higher doses, it can be used as an anti-depressant. Here are my experiences from last night.
10:00 PM - Took two 50 MG Trazodone HCL
10:45 PM - Feeling slightly sleepy, not quite natural though
11:00 PM - Beginning to lose my sense of mobility and while my eyes are closed, I begin seeing objects moving in an un-natural way.
11:05 Pm - Fall asleep and I am in a trance-like state
11:05 Pm to 9:30 AM - I dreamt I was at High School talking to a much-liked teacher, but he was much taller than he would have been in real life. I knew something wasn't quite right, but I was going along with things, not knowing the difference. We began discussing what work I was supposed to do. As I reached for an interesting and very vividly-colored book, I saw my palm. From then on, things were very, very different. I had begun lucid dreaming. I remember almost a psychedelic experience. Objects were extremely colorful and moving in a strange, but steady way. Objects such as trees, cars, and many other things were like this. I liked it. I didn't necessarily have a sense-of-self, but I knew I was in control and could move to or do what ever the hell I wanted to. I went to the book which indirectly had made me start lucid dreaming, and I began enjoying it very much. For some reason, there really wasn't much of anything in it. I saw strange lines that seemingly were interconnected and it was extremely satisfying to look at. Not much happened after this, I made up for the sleep I had missed for the week.
9:30 AM - I woke up, but I wasn't quite oriented, so I lay there for at least 30 minutes. Upon standing up, I felt a sense of rest and a burst of energy. My day was great and I accomplished everything I had planned and more.
In conclusion, trazodone is a very great drug when used as directed. I love it, and I may ask the doctor to prescribe me it.
