I started taking Lamotrigine for my BPD [bipolar disorder] but very recently I've got into a period of insomnia that has been going on for the last month.

Yesterday my psychiatrist prescribed Flurazepam 30mg and on that night I took 1 approximately few hours before going to bed. I was already in heavy debt of sleep and felt virtually no effects, but I managed to sleep for few hours although I was still getting awake due to nightmares and restless leg syndrome.

Tonight I increased the dose, taking 2x30mg of Flurazepam alongside my 125 mg of lamotrigine. Foggy mind, slight sedation but that's about it. I am struggling to see how this substance could have some recreational potential.
