I initially discovered Isopropylphenidate (IPPH) in my research of Methylphenidate (MPH) alternatives. I had taken MPH for about a 2-month span, then I used no stimulants for 6 months. Then I became very interested in the characteristics of IPPH as a daily supplement/ADD treatment. I had my concerns about cardiotoxicity when taking MPH, and while I'm sure IPPH is mildly cardiotoxic, it's supposedly less active on the norepinephrine transporters compared to MPH. This is congruent with my experience because my heart will race a bit less than I remembered on MPH.

The first time I tried IPPH, I took 10mg and didn't really feel much. I put it in capsules and take it orally. Haven't tried snorting IPPH.

I started taking 20mg and began to understand and notice the benefits of taking it. It gives me a feeling of warmth and contentment very similar to MPH and Amphetamines. I feel alert and involved in the tasks I'm doing.
I feel alert and involved in the tasks I'm doing.
Typically I take dabs (cannabis) throughout the day and I've found that IPPH works synergistically with cannabis very well. I think cannabis brings out the euphoric aspect of IPPH more, and it allows me to just sit and watch something on IPPH without feeling uneasy. Likewise, IPPH negates the couch-lock/lethargic effect that some cannabis induces.

The highest dose that I've tried of IPPH is 35mg, it felt like a bit too much, anxiety started setting in for me and made cannabis turn that way as well. I am a lightweight though. IPPH seems to last all day for me which is quite nice. If I take it in the morning I don't have the craving to re-dose, which wasn't true for MPH, I could really feel myself coming down from it. With IPPH the comedown is so subtle that I hardly noticed it, if at all.

Typically my ideal dose is 25-30mg taken in the morning, coffee about 45 minutes later. I also take magnesium and try to maintain a wholesome diet. I haven't noticed as significant a tolerance buildup as with MPH, but I don't feel quite the same rush of euphoria on IPPH. I'm sure that IPPH does build tolerance, but I've taken a few days off here and there, and haven't really experienced any noticeably negative effects from it. Before I was taking IPPH, I would drink on the weekends but since I started taking it I haven't had any interest or inclination to drink which is interesting and I didn't expect. I feel really content with my life and progress since taking it, I feel that I'm more involved in real life activities and hobbies.

Overall IPPH is a great drug in my opinion. Source responsibility because there's a lot of sketch in the IPPH market, find someone who lab tests for contaminants and cross your fingers that the shit isn't gonna kill us. From my understanding though, if sourced properly the risk factor is fairly low. If it turns out to be safe long-term, I feel that it's an excellent tool to help me attack my goals or simply stay alert for longer. IPPH will help me get shit done and seems to be more sustainable than the classic pharmaceutical stimulants, a more reasonable drug for someone to take simply for nootropic purposes.
