I have two purposes for submiting this, to decribe how it affected my artistic ability, and to describe a pleasent salvia experience.

Me: I had done salvia a few times before this particular experience, I even broke through for about 10 minutes, but that wasn't this experience. I'd definitely say I'm experienced in psychedelics. I smoke weed most days.

Setting: It's nighttime, I'm laying down in my room (no bed, I'm on the floor) watching X-files after a day of smoking weed with some friends. Looking over, I realize I have a pipe and almost a gram of 35x salvia that my sister gave me that morning.

Prep: In the bottom of the bowl was a clean screen. Thinking back to a previous experience which was measured out to be 15 mg, I added roughly half that. I used a jet lighter because I've heard salvorin has a high boiling point.

00:00 I light the jet, inhale all of it with ease and hold it in for 30 seconds, during which I thankfully was able to shut off the torch. Exhale almost no smoke. Then it hit. The sounds in X-files started to sound like voices coming from behind the floor and walls. Next it felt like I was falling through layers of something. I sat up against the wall, keeping my eyes on the show, trying to hear what the voices are saying. It then felt as if my mind and soul were falling back through the wall. I was looking at what I was seeing with my physical eyes from behind the wall. Then all the voices stopped. I faded back to my body, still watching X-files. I realized it was the same thing on the screen since I exhaled, a 45 second shot of a clean gurney. This was astonishing, it felt like 45 minutes, not seconds.

00:02 After replaying the shot several times in amazment, I started playing music. Then I felt I need to draw, which isn't something I normally do. I wanted to do abstract art. I drew lots of connected lines, and it felt easy knowing where to draw.

00:04 I found some felt markers to fill in the blank spaces. I was going to start with the biggest space in the center, but I couldn't decide what color, so I filled in the rest while contemplating.

00:07 I then realized it was finished. With the biggest space blank it looked like an embryo with an umbilical third eye. Now I feel it was probably a coincedence, but at the time it was the craziest thing. It felt like I unlocked all the answers I'd ever need.

00:10 The high then began to flee faster and I spent the next 20 minutes meditating, after which I felt baseline.

Summary/Restrospective: Overall this was my most rewarding salvia experience. I'm not sure if I'd do it again in the near future, it's a very challenging substance. I feel this trip made me more confident in my creativity.
