Reverse Tolerance/Instrument

2 g oral Syrian Rue (seeds)
  T+ 2:00 1.25 g oral Acacia confusa (tea)
  T+ 3:30 1.25 g oral Acacia confusa (tea)

This time I went even lower on the A. confusa dosage to see if I could trip from a meager 1.25 g of A. confusa.

I have been interested in obtaining altered consciousness at will through wim hof (which is fairly effective), and meditation. After researching reverse tolerance on ayahuasca and how use of DMT can cause deeper experiences on other psychedelics (e.g. LSD), I have been trying to work out a way to experience the altered states without taking the substances. We know this is possible because of reports of dreaming of being high (which I have also experienced a few times).

I have also noticed that I can entrain with binaural beats pretty effectively, and go into a trance while watching lectures or performances, for example. Occasionally I feel like I’m looking into another dimension in regular life (especially after abrupt awakenings). This feeling occurs without visuals, but is pretty profound for a couple seconds.

Since my last report I have tried LSD ~110 ug (1 hit) on two separate occasions (tested with Ehrlich reagant). The first experience was very similar to low-dose ayahuasca. The second experience (only 3 days later) was more similar to LSA seeds, but much better in every respect (I have not tried LSH teks yet - just plain seeds or CWE which suck).

7 days after most recent LSD experience; no medications; no "dieta"
8:27 - chewed 2 g S. rue on an empty stomach
10:30 - drank 1.25 g A. confusa in a concentrated tea (2 crock pot pulls for 12+ hours each, if I remember correctly. Boiled down. It was then stored in the fridge for around 2 months). Solid effects with fairly intense CEV, weirdness, and “entity contact.” ~ 1 hour peak.
12:ish - took the other 1.25 g A. confusa. Pretty good, but milder second peak for ~2 hours.
14:05 - effects are mild. Eating food brought another very short and mild peak ~10 minutes.
16:30 - just lingering maoi effects; basically back to normal

Overall trip: generally mild with some intense parts. Good recreational level, if that can be said about ayahuasca… Definitely could be substituted for LSD.

The first trip was weird - like regular ayahuasca, probably peaking for around 30 min - 1 hour. Definitely lighter than some experiences, but still profoundly weird. Historically, I hovered around 2 g S. rue and 6-11 g A. confusa, both eaten plain, for the first ~29 trips, so this seems significant. I feel like I got farther here than in most of the previous trips. Even if they felt stronger, they were focused more on light-shows than introspection.

I think the completely empty stomach could be a contributing factor, but still 1.25 g A. confusa is such an insanely low amount that I assume reverse tolerance must have something to do with it. No trip has been the same after I took 2 g S. rue with 77 g A. confusa. Maybe this insanely high experience broke the dam open for future experiences? (I don’t recommend 77 g A. confusa, as I destroyed my room, mildly injured myself, and experienced panic attacks for ~1 week afterwards). I overcame PTSD, and experienced post traumatic growth through almost 2 years hiatus. Anyway, I digress.

In this trip, I remember “being told by entities” that turmeric is good. Also you can put wood in water for some purpose, but I didn’t exactly get the purpose. Reminds me of the Bible: Moses putting wood in the water to change it from bitter to pure or something. (~30 minutes on the other side)

I questioned whether this was my mind making random connections and remembering thoughts, or external information entering my mind.
I questioned whether this was my mind making random connections and remembering thoughts, or external information entering my mind.
I think it’s only my mind, but I also believe everything is 1 consciousness, which sort of means it’s both… Anyway, I also spent some time working on the heart chakra and considering how to love people purely - without objectifying women as sexual objects or only being nice to a person because it will come back to benefit me. It feels good to love for love’s sake alone, though of course it’s debatable whether that is possible or not. (~30 minutes working through this).

After my Dad came home and I started interacting with him the peak dissipated into recreational euphoria/feelings with no OEV. I spent ~20 minutes with him before taking the other 1.25 g A. confusa and going upstairs to listen to Pink Floyd.

Same effects were not achieved upon redose (notably, no “entity” contact), although it was euphoric with definite mind-altered-ness; like a low dose of acid? (Though I don’t have much experience with acid).

I spent a few hours playing guitar with Pink Floyd. LSD was especially good for music, ayahuasca not as beneficial after repeated tries in different experiences. I think LSD mildly increased my piano improvisation creativity permanently; ayahuasca definitely makes music enjoyable but doesn’t seem to make me any better at playing an instrument, though I can hear better definition between notes on ayahuasca than on LSD.

AYAHUASCA: increased sound definition, possibly increased creativity but not as much as LSD

LSD: increased creativity, better forethought on what to play next, lasting improvement (at least in the first LSD experience; still too early to say definitely)
