I took 1g phenibut and felt very little effect. Maybe slightly drowsy, but not much. Later that same night I drank alcohol and felt highly intoxicated from an amount that would typically have no effect on me. Every drink felt twice as strong.
In short, I felt nothing but experienced a synergistic effect with alcohol.
