I awoke following a relatively short sleep. I’m feeling tired, yet with a certain level of adrenaline that has kept me going in recent months, as I am trying to finish my PhD on sustainable chemistry in a few weeks. I began my day by heading to the pool, and while getting changed ingested a 20 mg capsule of coluracetam. This is my third experience with this particular substance (20 mg each). After swimming for 20 minutes or so, I began to feel the onset of effects from coluracetam which I was beginning to become familiar with: Reduced anxiety, positive mental outlook shift, and a pronounced visual effect I can only really describe as enhanced resolution.

Leaving the pool I feel energised and well, which is likely to be because of a synergistic effect of the exercise and coluracetam. This combination with other smarts has worked excellently for me in the past.

I then grab a quick breakfast and meet with my supervisor. During the meeting, certain aspects of my methods came under fire, however I felt that because of the coluracetam I was able to defend my work more effectively by formulating arguments with increased verbal fluidity, while also keeping a cool head. I definitely think the coluracetam made a challenging morning easier, even if it just because it put me in a better mood.

After lunch I’m feeling quite drained, but I need to write tonight so I eyeball a sizeable scoop of aniracetam (around 800 mg), some phenylpiracetam (approx. 100 mg) and pop a caffeine pill (200 mg). This concoction definitely gave me a second wind, as the phenylpiracetam and caffeine certainly give me a kick of stimulation and not really notice how tired I was.

Besides increasing my perceived creativity, I find Aniracetam generally has a positive effect on my typically anxious mental state, making me more prone to a “whatever will be will be” mindset. I find aniracetam not to be “forcefully stimulating”, and that it sometimes “takes the edge off” phenylpiracetam, the effects of which to me resemble more closely a classic dopaminergic stimulant like amphetamine.

I head home and vaporise some good quality cannabis (~2/3 hits) and ingested a low dose of nice kratom (‘green malay’ strain, 400 mg). The cannabis instantaneously gave me the motivation to head out to the gym, and while there the kratom kicked in allowing me to push harder and for longer (possibly partially by reducing the mild withdrawal symptoms I was experiencing). While in the gym, my subjective experience morphed into a certain psychedelic one, rather, like the beginning of a trip. I decided to roll with it and see how far I could go. At one stage my entire vision was completely obscured where I could see many different images of what was in front of me each image tiled inside a glowing white hexagon. I enjoyed this effect for a while before snapping out of it.

The following day I didn’t feel any negative effects in particular although I was quite tired as I found it difficult to sleep that night.
