At that time I had been put on Gabapentin for various reasons. Reasons such as depression, chronic pain and anxiety. I am in the music industry professionally and I compose music for film and television. At that time I had gone through writer's block and wasn't able to come up with shit. Originally I was 3 X 800 Mg per day for a total of 2400 MG. I decided that I was going to step it up a bit. Here is how that went.

8:00 PM I take 4x800 mg tablets
8:30: not feeling anything different yet at this point. Nothing seems to transpire
9:15: ok. I am definitely feeling something here. I feel a little bit more energetic and vibrant and happily walk over to my studio and power everything up and my mind is screaming for collaboration so I call my partner and tell him to grab his instruments and get over here.

9:45: The computer is on, the DAW is open, the virtual instruments are loaded, the keyboard is on. I am ready to start composing...then the inspiration starts to fade a little bit.

10:30 BAM!. The inspiration is back 10X stronger than it has ever been. I am alert. focused, intense, and composing like Beethoven or something.

11:30 I feel so amazing. The music that I am creating with my fingertips has driven me to emotion and I start crying as I am playing the keyboard. So much beauty is crossing my eardrums and entering my heart. Just the most amazing feeling I have EVER had. So into the moment.

2:00 : I look at the clock and I cannot believe that 6 hours has passed by. I have been lost in this world of bliss and audio aroma. Still feeling quite happy, I listen to what I have accomplished. It was utterly amazing. I am not trying to blow my own horn here but the dose of gabapentin I took tripled my level of creativity while allowing me to delve in to a heavenly inner world.

3:30. The effects are slowly starting to subside. I am quite tired and I head off to bed. As I drift off, a smile is on my face and I have an amazing feeling of accomplishment. Just amazing in every way. What an experience.
