DOSE:
2 hits smoked Cannabis
BODY WEIGHT: 175 lb
[Erowid Note: Some authors report suspicions that their cannabis has been 'laced' (adulterated), in some cases, presumably with PCP. While this is possible, readers should be aware that idiosyncratic response to the effects of cannabis (usually higher doses) can lead some users to presume their cannabis has been 'laced'. There is no way to know if the cannabis in the report below was adulterated or not. Reports of plant material and cannabis laced with powerful synthetic cannabinoids and other psychoactive substances became more common starting in 2007.]
This is my first time writing about a psychedelic experience. This is just too good not to share. Let me start off by saying that I have been a pretty frequent weed smoker, since I was 15. I am now 29. I have done acid about 20 times, mushrooms about 5 times, molly a handful of times. I now have a wife and two kids so I don’t really do any drugs anymore except the occasional bong rip at night when the kids go to sleep.

Last night was like any other night, the wife and I got the kids to sleep and I went into the garage to smoke the last couple bong rips that I had gotten from my younger sister a couple days prior. The only difference was that she gave me the couple of nugs in a fake soda can that the top screws off of. It looked like normal weed to me and I didn’t notice anything strange about it.
It looked like normal weed to me and I didn’t notice anything strange about it.
I had actually smoked some of it the night before. So I took the two small bong rips and went inside, grabbed a bottle of water and sat down on my couch. After about 2-5 minutes, I started to feel very strange. I was very disoriented, my vision started to get a little hazy. It started to worry me because out of all the years smoking, I have never felt like this before. I was now pacing around my living room really starting to freak out. My heart was beating super loud and fast. I collapsed onto my stairs almost in tears thinking I was about to OD on whatever the hell I just smoked. This whole thing maybe lasted 5-10 minutes.

The craziest thing was that I received a text message from my stepdad as I was on the stairs thinking I was dying. I shit you not, this is what it said. I’m actually copying and pasting his message. “The quarantine has now reached 30 million. They say 10,000 are infected at this time. 63 people being tested for the virus in 22 US States. 1 confirmed in Chicago and 1 confirmed in Seattle. This is the Corona virus in China.” I thought someone had hacked into my stepdad's phone and was messaging me saying I’ve been infected with this virus. Almost unbelievable, I know. I was freaking out at this point. My sister had just gone to Japan for a week a couple months before this. I thought, China, Japan, close enough. For a second I thought my sister was trying to kill me or that she picked up some crazy virus from Japan that was somehow in the weed that she gave me. So after a couple minutes on the stairs, I decided to go upstairs to tell my wife what was going on. She was pretty worried about me but I told her it just seemed almost like an acid trip. I forced myself to go to bed and surprisingly I was able to pretty fast. I woke up at 5:30 this morning, researched like crazy about what the hell just happened. Was it PCP? Like I said, I’ve been smoking weed for most of my life and I have never experienced this sort of thing before. I will never forget it.
