I was with a friend and this was our first time experiencing salvia. He went first, I watched him.

He took his first hit, chuckled and giggled for about 10 seconds. Then he immediately fell back into the bed and closed his eyes and it appeared the salvia was finally taking him. But as soon as I thought that, he immediately shot up from the bed, he looked to be in a trance like state. He then started looking for something, I assume it was his phone because he had headphones in and was listening to music as he went under. He spun around on the bed about 4 or 5 times like a dog would who is trying to make its nest. He paused for about 5 seconds, then sideways dove off of the bed. I look at him with utter surprise. He lands in the crevice between the bed and a nightstand, he then sits up and gets on his knees and is kneeling in the carpet next to the bed. He then starts to take his hands and tries to grab the carpet and tries to eat it, but he takes his fingertips to the ground and back to his mouth, but this whole process he was doing for about a minute, his mouth never opened. I tried to interfere as least as I could because I didn't want to spin his trip into a bad one accidentally. I asked him if he was okay. He didn't know what I was talking about. He gets back on the bed and closes his eyes to finish the trip.He wakes up about 5 minutes later and asks me why his head hurts. He didn't remember any actions he made while he was under. Afterwards he told me everything he saw was made up of tiny little people. He said it wasn't a bad experience, he doesn't remember most of it though.

Now for my story, it was a rather good trip for my first time, I got a good taste and will definitely salvia again. I am a student and salvia is the teacher. We as humans have much to learn.

I laid on the bed, headphones in ear, I was listening to Pink Floyd's Dark Side of The Moon album. (I studied the effects and what salvia could do. So I had at least a decent idea. I reassured myself why I was doing this, that I wanted a spiritual experience, I wanted to learn. I've taken acid numerous times before. And have tried a few other drugs in the past but nothing can prepare you for a salvia trip.) I took my first hit held it in for 30 seconds. As I exhaled I could feel the Goddess' call. As soon as my head hit the pillow, I thought "here we go!"

I feel the plant encroaching me. My eyes are closed and remain so for the first part of the trip. First thing I noticed was my vision breaks into 4 light brown fractal squares, that are ever rotating. They all shifted to the left every 2 seconds, like clockwork, that continues for about 5 seconds but it feels like days and then immediately I get transferred to a completely different space, now this I question whether it was a memory of some sort. (When I was younger I would often go to the beach and walk the boardwalk in cali on vacation with my grandparents, who raised me since birth, so in a sense, my mom and dad.) That is where I believe I was transported to. And when I do, the first thing I noticed was my perspective was alot lower to the ground, more so than usual. I am a 6'4 guy, so I usually see everything, but this time I was in a perspective of a child,now if it was me from like 8 or so, or just a random child, I dont know but next thing I noticed is that I was holding hands with someone, a woman figure, but I felt immediately at peace by this, like I felt safe. I didnt even look up to see who it was because they were familiar to me, and I also question if it was a memory, it could be my grandmother, but if not, I wonder if it was the salvia goddess guiding me through.

As we were holding hands, we walked down the boardwalk passing all these stalls and vendors. Didnt give them thought. As we kept walking, nothing was said between this womanly figure and I. I just remember feeling so happy, tranquility was everywhere, I was in state of complete bliss. As we approached the end of the boardwalk, I saw that it led into one of those huge white tents. The ones you would see at public events, rodeos, car shows, horse shows etc. I saw a pinball machine and the figure walked me over to it. As soon as I put my hands on it to play, my perspective and consciousness transfers from the child to the pinball machine itself. I look up at the womanly figure and myself. Neither one had faces.

As soon as I realized that, my eyes flicked open, and I sat up on the bed, I was still tripping but I was lucid. I looked at my friend, recognized him and where I was. Then I look over to my right at the dresser that was placed there, and I see a blue,green, and purple portal. I look at my friend and ask him, if he could see what I did, but then immediately remembered that he couldn't, he replied with "no man" with a chuckle. I look at the dresser and seeing it stayed the same, I then look back at my friend and say "ill tell you about this later." Then I crawl over the other end of the bed and look straight into that portal, I start to make out the imagery of what inside. Everything, were the same three colors, aqua blue,light mint green and amethyst purple, to my right inside the portal I see one of those old school horse tracks where people like to bet alot of money on which horse would win. The horses were racing, and people were cheering. I look to my left inside the portal, and I see the stands of people, but they weren't exactly people, they were little peg people, somewhat similar to the pegs in the board game called Life, same colors as everything else. The stadium is packed with cheering people, but that place was very orderly. I'm watching through the portal like any observer would, shortly after, one of those pegs jump our of line, and immediately locks eyes with me. Then his peg like face, morphed into an elf like face, not a creepy one, but a happy, joyful one. He then motions to come in the portal, to follow him, I was telepathically asking him "you want me to come?" and "Are you sure?" The elf didn't say anything but nodded his head, and kept motioning me to come with him. I look back to my friend and say "You're not going to believe this!" Then I look back at the dresser and the portal was gone.

I often wonder that if I smoked more, if it would have continued. I would say that it was a positive experience for me. And I will definitely try it again to see what else I might be shown. Acid has always felt scientific like for me. Salvia felt more natural, more pure.
