I've been prescribed topiramate by my neurologist for anger management. I am very experienced with benzos, painkillers, sedatives.

I took my first pill in the morning after an hour or so I started to notice a weird taste in my mouth and quiet sedated. I was having a bit of a hard time to speak. Not that much but I wasn't able to finish my sentences. 2 hours after taking the medication I decided to smoke a big joint and wasn't expecting anything different. After a few hits I started to feel weird. My stomach was uncomfortable and even though I was staying still I felt like shaking almost like a small earthquake feeling. I got confused a bit about what was going on I felt like fainting. I wasn't able to focus my eyes on the same spot and also couldn't focus my mind on one thing. Thoughts were racing didn't know what I was thinking about. I decided to wash my face and eat some food which sobered me up a bit.

Right now it has been 2 hours since I smoked the joint and 4 hours since I've taken the medication and still there are strong lingering effects of heavy sedation. My heart rate was at like 140-150 bpm at first now it is around 90. I didn't notice any physical side effects except numb feeling in my palms. It feels like if I slept over my arm. I was trying to sing a little to focus but I kept forgetting the lyrics every 10 seconds of a song that I've been listening to years. My ability to talk was impaired but with the cannabis it got doubled and I felt dumb as hell. Even in such a small amount this combination gives me a opioid like feeling but I didn't find it recreational at all since my mind was racing and it felt overwhelming.
