There was always a keen interest in MXE, the so-called Holy Grail of dissociatives (I know, I know Ketamine is King). For me there were always only two undisputed kings of the RC scene namely MXE & Mephedrone and much of what followed has merely been attempts at mimicking these groundbreaking RCs, as opposed to discovering the magic of new ones. So in the interest of MXE/dissos, when DMXE (or 3D-MXE) became available, I felt obliged to submit a report on the effects particularly as there is little data available. The data profile for MXE was referred to, as well as early reddit reports for reference on dosing.

For starters, I have dissociative experience with Ketamine, MXP, Ephenidine, Diphenidine, MXE, DCK, 2FDCK, O-PCE & 3D-MXE. I had a mild tolerance to dissociatives at this time and take 225mg Pregabalin twice a day for OCD , I also took a 20mg CBD gummy sweet prior to dosing.

65mg dosed intranasally, immediate soft ear ringing prior to dosing as per the usual with many dissociatives. I noticed quite quickly that this has a scent and taste akin to O-PCE, but its physical appearance is fairly easily differentiated. O-PCE is insufflated quite pleasantly I find, whereas this is slightly less delightful.

Slight tinnitus is present and euphoria is building.

Tinnitus is louder and euphoria is beginning to rush, no noticeable dissociation, some increase in stimulation.

Dissociation is building alongside euphoria, building into a mass, then being released before beginning to build again. Sense of taste and smell of powder linger.

Tinnitus suddenly builds again and again, mind becomes clearer, euphoria increases, dissociation increases rapidly, overall effects increase. Subtle tactile sensations are flickering and pinging across my body. There is what some describe as a "halo" vibrating gently on my head during the come up.

This substance is similar to MXE in that it is a stimulating dissociative, it can be very sociable without being totally inebriating. It is potent so appropriate scales are advised, but it is not as potent as the likes of O-PCE, probably for the best.

I'm feeling comfortable at this point, I feel that DMXE isn't too dissimilar to Ketamine if you were to add some additional stimulation. It certainly has its own character which is pleasant, unlike 2FDCK which mimics Ketamine in a hollow and duller fashion, Ketamine without the magic as many seem to say.

I dose the remaining 65mg DMXE intranasally. The same effects increase, additional euphoria seems to increase, which gives the impression of further stimulation, whilst in fact the dissociation is kicking in more heavily. There is likely some seretonergic and dopaminergic activity hence the sensation of a slight rush. Therein lies a residual stimulation that underlies the growing sedation and dissociation that is taking place.

The effects are dimming but residual stimulation is still felt. I took 2mg Etizolam to go to sleep comfortably.

Due to tolerance and the fact that I ended the trip with benzos I was not able to hole and even then 130mg is a dose too high for many to begun with! However, I do feel that this substance has hole potential and curious dissonauts should start small and approach one step at a time. I would like to investigate further and I'm sure it would accompany cannabis very well!
