Changa in the Woods

I went into the woods by the creek shortly before sunset with a music player and a joint of low-strength basil changa [N,N-DMT, harmala alkaloids, basil, and cannabis]. The changa hit very smoothly with none of the usual unpleasant DMT taste or harshness. I came up after about two minutes of smoking and had beautiful visuals all around me. I particularly remember a knot in a tree that looked like some kind of pink nether portal; I'd like to make a painting of this at some point. I also remember a yellow and green rock with two cracks in it. I remember thinking how cool it would be if it was a meteorite or something.

I went walking along the creek. About five minutes in I saw a deer standing in the creek. This delighted me and I thought I was going to have a spiritual nature moment like in Pocahontas. I thought the deer would be more calm if I didn't try to sneak up on her, but once I got within twenty feet she scrambled up the bank and ran away. Oh well, still cool.

About ten minutes in I felt the presence of my friend Ehum, a 5-dimensional alien I met on previous trips. I couldn't quite see him but I would catch glimpses of him in my peripheral vision, touching my shoulder with his hand to guide me through the forest. Ehum lead me to an intersection of the creek with other creeks where there was lots of human graffiti and a train bridge over the creek. Some of the graffiti looked like an alien language; I could almost hear the sounds of it in my head, and read one piece out loud as "shpkhraai" (a consonant cluster I had no idea I could pronounce).

I saw that across the tracks from where Ehum led me was a big patch of tall, healthy cannabis plants. They're not flowering yet, but it was a really cool thing to see anyways. I doubt that they have much THC in them but they did have a mild marijuana odor. So Ehum basically led me to an unlimited supply of CBD flower. Score!

I experienced glossolalia during this trip. I sang a song in [Dasxanuii] [a new conlang inspired by my experiences with DMT]; I barely understood any of the song, but it sounded cool. I also practiced the words that I had already learned and learned some new words: *tleokatl* meaning "river", *huaahuai* meaning "what" or "wow", *at* and *hoi* meaning "this" and "that", and *kharai* meaning "grass".

Around the time I got to the cannabis patch I was coming down. The comedown was very smooth with a nice but mild afterglow. I noticed that the sunset was simply gorgeous. I felt disappointed that I hadn't brought more changa with me. The last quarter or so of my joint was cannabis, not changa, which I had hoped would enhance and lengthen the trip. It did, but not more than a couple minutes.

All told this was a magical trip, definitely my best DMT trip so far. I might even go so far as to say it was among my best trips ever. I mixed my changa at a 1:3 ratio of DMT and harmala alkaloids to leaf

, making for a trip that was very mild by DMT standards, but just right for me. I didn't get any of the panic, throat tightening, or head-about-to-explode-feeling that I get when I smoke straight DMT, and it was a much smoother and longer ride, lasting about thirty minutes. It was more like being on mushrooms for half an hour than freebase DMT.

I regularly use entheogens and smoke cannabis every couple days. I plan on doing this again tonight, only this time I'll bring more changa.
