DOSE:
  insufflated Cocaine (powder / crystals)
BODY WEIGHT: 315 lb
The year is 2020 and the whole world locks down. A cocaine user since college, I had already been gaining a little weight every year since college. Which is a joke in itself. Not really working out and just eating to eat. I would describe food as my biggest addiction.

I make a good living, and my looks aren’t tied to my sales business. Even then I think that building relationships is the greatest sales tool we have. I digress, but the easiest way to close is to wine and dine clients. Well last year before lockdown I had gained enough weight for my primary to notice and order a bunch of labs. Everything came back great except for the title of the story.

I now had high blood pressure and I needed to get it under control. Family history of bad hearts really put things into perspective for me. A shitty family Doctor prescribed one script that made me feel like shit (wish I could remember name). He gets mad weeks later cause my BP is higher, and I have quit taking my meds. I ended getting a new younger doc who prescribes me Lisinopril, which has honestly been the best thing for me. BP starts to get within a little high but normal range.

Well business never stopped during lockdown as we were deemed essential. Weight gain just coming and coming. I gained 30lbs in a year (my most ever), since I graduated. Coke to me has always been a celebration thing, I go months without it but my biggest trigger is booze.

When I first got on BP medication I consulted a nurse friend who said to be careful taking my first medication and coke. Then I consulted her on the lisinopril and coke and she said it’s a better combo. Now, fast forward to two weekends ago and I snorted down a ball with a buddy. Had a great time with no incidents that night. The next day was a different story. Poor sleep, dehydration, and still banged from the night before sent me to the local ER. I get in there and Doc knows me (we have partied in the past) so he understands what’s going on. Said yea my heart rate and BP were very elevated but I was more than likely having a panic attack. Said if this ever happens again to take two of the BP pills, and start hydrating. It did wake my ass up and I have lost those 30lbs gained. I’m still using only on the weekends 1-2g but I’m making sure to take my medicine and work out.
