Took the 1 and a half pill of 2cb at 20:00. About 30 min after I took the 2cb it started with the usual tenseness and restlessness, especially in the neck and jaw. When I started to feel a bit more of the 2cb (no clear visuals yet, but brighter colours for sure) I snorted up the 30mg of ket, this must’ve been about 21:10.

I started watching blue planet and as soon as I felt the ket work its magic my fucking video program like froze over and stopped, I wasn’t sure what the fuck was going on with my pc but after thinking about it I came to the conclusion that I just got the power to stop time. I remember saying to myself “did I just stop or did the world stop” and after sitting there in awe for a couple seconds I snapped out of it to fix my pc and keep watching. After watching crabs jump around and shots of beautiful waves, there was this insane timelapse sped up drone shot going through cliffs. Watching that part sober feels a little trippy now but at the time it was insane, the immersive qualities of ketamine combined with the visual trippy clearness of 2cb made that one of the most beautiful things ever. The whole show was fucking beautiful, I watched it muted played some music of my own in the background. The music always guides me whenever I'm under the influence of a drug , usually not so much with 2cb but in combination with the ketamine, the album I was listening to felt more like an all-encompassing force, guiding me and soothing the documentary and the whole experience.

After that I laid on my back and just watched the ceiling for a bit. It started shifting and blurring and it reminded me of the ocean a lot, at the same time I was touching my shirt and making swirls and feeling the waves in the fabric, and it felt perfect. The ocean in the ceiling and the ocean in my shirt. I remember pushing my hands out in front of my face like a tunnel and the tracering of my hands was intense as hell, I would swing my hands and it literally created a swirly, colorful tunnel that stayed there for legit a whole second. I remember thinking about that crazy dude Shulgin and how he took 100mg of 2cb. Must’ve been insane.

Every 20 minutes probably (I had about 4 of these over the course of the trip) I had these intense waves of tiredness rush over me and my head would start swaying because it felt like I was about to fall asleep, I would close my eyes a little bit and enter this dreamlike state, it’s like that 30 sec before you fall asleep, but way more euphoric, and visually my eyes were half closed but the 2cb had this visual “afterimage” effect where I still saw whatever I was looking at before I closed my eyes but more blurry and vague. I had plenty of sleep the night before so I don’t know what’s up with these little sleepy intrusions, but I remember thinking, you know “don’t fall asleep” and after a couple seconds I looked back at the screen or my ceiling or whatever it was I was doing and continuing my trip, feeling wide awake again. One cool visual I saw during one of these sleepy episodes was half closed eyes looking at my hand, it had a bunch of writing on it, lines and lines of writing stretching across my hand and upper arm. Couldn’t make out details or language or anything like that, but definitely writing.

My mindspace with 2cb is usually very clear and collected, but in a combo with this ketamine my mind was all over the place, floating and soaring like a fucking albatross. It felt more like an acid trip but way more euphoric but less imaginative and crazy.

I only did 30mg of ketamine but the effects were waaay more pronounced, I only had 2 previous experiences with ketamine, the first was a little disappointed 50mg sedated, little drunk sort of trip, the second was a 100mg full blown shot-out-of-a-rocket sort of trip. This measly 30mg combined with the 2cb definitely felt more like the 100mg one. Especially when I stopped watching blue planet for a bit and stood up did I feel the full effects of k, everything was going super slow motion, I felt like I was being controlled by some puppeteer somewhere, I ate some chips sat down to look at a lava lamp, the glow of the lava lamp was growing and creeping up over the surrounding walls while I was very slowly putting chips in my mouth and chewing extremely slowly.

After the ketamine got out of my system completely I just enjoyed the 2cb visuals which were as usual pretty fucking fantastic. Aquarium vision where everything around my central point of view was blurry like being underwater, looking at my screen it begins to get pulled in all sort of directions, “swiss cheese” hands where if I move my hands in my peripheral vision it looks like they’re see through and have a bunch of holes or lines going through them, the usual drifting and wavy patterns all over the place.

About 4 hours after taking the pill I felt back to baseline completely, a little bit of a good afterglow, but nothing major. Waking up the next day I had a slight headache, but who knows if it's cause of the drugs or not.

Overall it’s a crazy cool fucking combo, 2cb always seemed a little too calm for me, it's enjoyable and the visuals are cool and all, but my mindspace doesn't really change, but the ketamine adds another immersive, psychedelic, dimension to my thoughts, the general good feeling of the 2cb is also enhanced with the euphoria of ketamine.
